Keynote Speaker—"God's Recreation"

The Rt. Rev. Mark MacDonald, First National Indigenous Bishop of the Angican Church of Canada.

The former Bishop of Alaska, Mark MacDonald began his dual ministry as an active member of the American and Canadian House of Bishops in June 2007. Bishop MacDonald took office as national bishop for all indigenous persons in the Anglican Church of Canada. The Navajoland Area Mission in the United States also confirmed him as its area bishop. Created in 1978, the Navajoland Area Mission was carved out of the dioceses of Arizona, Utah and the Rio Grande and serves the Navajo Indian reservation. Its bishop is appointed by House of Bishops and serves under the American church's Presiding Bishop.

Bishop MacDonald's jurisdiction crosses Canada's existing diocesan boundaries as well as the U.S.-Canadian border. While he resigned as Bishop of Alaska to take up the Toronto-based post, he continues in his role as assisting bishop of Navajoland Area Mission in The Episcopal Church.

He has graciously agreed to be our keynote speaker and spend much of the weekend with us at "God's ReCreation."

Presenter—"Journey into Faith"

The Most Reverend fred Hiltz, Primate of the Angican Church of Canada.

All Saints, Kimberley are thrilled to be welcoming The Most Reverend Fred Hiltz as their presenter at their annual "Journey into Faith." He will be sharing "his journey" with those attending this weekend event on June 20 to 22, 2008.

All Saint's 'journeys' began in the spring of 1998 when, under the guidance of The Rev. Canon Barbara Stewart, a group of parishioners sought to renew and add to their existing faith in a way that was comfortable, relaxing and filled with God's Holy Spirit.
