October 7 at St. George's, Westbank, Bishop Privett hosted a gathering of thirty retired clergy and spouses. The event began with a Eucharist, then a social time, followed by lunch and a presentation by the bishop. The presentation was on the recent Lambeth Conference and employed DVD technology coupled with commentary. There was lively discussion! Bishop John expressed gratitude for the ongoing work and witness of our retired clergy. Those gathered enjoyed their time together, recalling past experiences and offering many suggestions for the issues before the Church in our time.
